Short English Setter description:
English Setter is elegant and slim dog breed with average height between 23-27 inches, which is 58-68 cm and weight between 45-80 pounds, which is 20-36 kg. Naturally, the females are little bit smaller than males.

There is quite a difference between the English Setters field dogs and show dogs. The show dogs are larger and they also have a more luxurious coat and differ slightly in coat pattern. Patches of color are often seen in field English Setters, but they aren't desirable for show dogs.

We have had 8 setters during are life, 2 at the time. We love them, no other dos appeals tu us.

My setter came into my life six years ago. She well heck if you know English setters you understand the unequivocal love that pours out of them. At night she goes to each side of the bed to say goodnight never taught her that. That's just one example. Smartest most loving dog I ever met.

We have our second one now, lost our first female English (at 11yo) about a year ago. They can be precocious puppies as they are very observant, bright eyed, and have an amazing memory but need lots of exercise. Start training early. You will never find another dog that is more loving and devoted. What a joy to own!

We adopted a rescue setter, never having had one before. She is beautiful, intelligent and quite the character. We've had her for 5 years. Inside, she is affectionate and snuggles abound. Outside she is lively and always stalking something in the yard.

This is my very favorite dog breed. My Dad had them growing up so he made sure we did too.. Than I married someone who also loved them and so far we have had 5 together. We have three now and have our own line breeding. They are the most gentlest of dogs. The are very smart and loyal. We live on a lot of acres so they can run all the time and get great exercise. We have a Tri Color and we have two orange and white. We would like to breed our youngest soon to keep the line going. We do not do it to make money, we just want to keep the same line going as its a wonderful one. Thank you for making the video
