Started off with apple ear buds, then headphones, then iems. And now I sound proofed my room with 4 inch acoustic panels and bass traps with studio monitors, dacs and amps.

I was actually curious about the IEM market myself after seeing some funny crinacle (audiophile on YT) content. Found out about some of the most popular ones he recommends (the Moondrop Aria), saw an open box was for sale on eBay for $50 and ordered some within 2 days of research. Safe to say, much better than my Steelseries Arctis 3's and gives me a much better listening experience in gaming and overall music alone.

As a musician I use IEMS all the time. My problem with uses them for gaming is the lack of a microphone

Ooh Crinacle's collabs are always generally a good place to go. For other recommendations, Crinacle himself and Dankpods are good places to start on youtube (crin for iems and dankpods for general use).

YES! HELL YES! You won't regret this decision at all! I'm personally rocking Moondrop Kato with some foam ear tips, the audio is way better than most of the headsets I have used

Been an amateur audio engineer for just over a decade and to hear one of my favourite content creators say he listened through built in monitor speakers… that hurts man 😂 those IEMs are going to change EVERYTHING!

As someone with glasses and couldn’t wear contacts, after I decided to use IEMs over traditional over-ear headsets to use with my PC, I never looked back.

The hexa iem's are great on your budget i bought them 3 months ago and they've been absolutely great for Val Minecraft anything and very comfortable 🙂

just having monitor speakers is crazy.
You don't even have to go that hard on audio, its not like other hardware thats suddenly outdated a couple years laters. I spend like 500 bucks at a discount on good 5.1 soundsystem and I'm still rocking them almost 20 years later. They still sound amazing

I actually use Bluetooth Audio Technica headphones for VR gaming and I use the Shure IEMS for gaming cause they were both in my price range. I would say Shure IEMS are pretty good too

My montor doesnt have speakers, so i just turn my headphone's volume to max to hear stuff when im away from the computer.

I use IEMs for my discord stuff, and then speakers for my games, setting up VoiceMeeter was a bit of a hassle, but now my audio setup is so easily customisable on the fly!
