I'm sorry to say you have the directions of motion of the motor reversed. According to Flemings Left Hand Motor Rule, the palm of your left hand should be the direction of the current. The thumb is always the direction of force or motion. Please check and correct this. Thanks

Yes the only difference is that you use the left hand rule for electrical current flow and the right hand rule for conventional current flow. Check with your teacher or text book to see which rule you should use. I hope this helps.

I think the wire should be moving inward (toward the magnet) rather than moving away from the magnet.

Yes, depending on the flow of the current your answers will be different! But if the teacher doesn't specify if the current is conventional or non-conventional both answers are technically right.
