During my childhood, I connected a 3v dc phone battery directly to an AC power source thinking it would charge the dc battery. The whole house went off.

DC motors rely on the interaction between the fixed magnets and the rotating electromagnetic field of the rotor, which is created by the flow of DC current through the motor's coils. When an AC voltage is applied, the alternating polarity of the voltage creates an oscillating electromagnetic field in the motor's coils, which causes the rotor to vibrate or oscillate back and forth. This can lead to mechanical stress and damage to the motor's bearings and other components

Thats why we installing beaking module on house. (Trip)
If any shotcuts or inceased current flow to a device, the current in whole house will went It is a safely mechanism....

My wife complained my younger son did some mischief and house fuse had blown off. I saw a blackened plug point. Then I asked my six years son, "Did you see any boom explosion and sparks?" He sheepishly said yes. Then I asked him slowly how did it happen. Then he admitted, he had connected a 3V bulb (old incandescent type) from a battery torch light to the house mains in that socket. Fortunately he did not suffer any shock or burns.

When I was little I tried to fix a fan and when I turned on the fan, damn the house went off and the fan caught fire 😊

AC doesn’t matter! It’s the high voltage, which kills the motor.

I tried that in 2001, result was a shortcircuit

I did this experience 18 years ago, and I denied it and said I didn't do anything 🤣🤣🤣

Story time. When I was a child, Before I knew the difference in AC and DC, I kept stacking batteries on a DC motor and it just kept getting faster without damage. So I figured "let's jump to 110v to see how fast It can go." I did this by hand. It felt like a flashbang went off and now I know the difference.

I connected radio antenna directly to AC power supply. Then I realised my hidden talent # dancer 😁😁😁

I tried to put a halogen dc bulb in AC power supply that's my first experiment when I was 7 yrs old... As a result fuse gone in my home... Then dad beaten me for not to do these kind of experiments 😂

Been there done that. 😅 In my case it was a solenoid valve.

I connected one of those small dc light to a socket and learnt it the hard way :)

When I was 16, I removed my mobile charger adapter and connected the 2 pin plug without even insulating. And when I plugged in, I was thrown on the bed and my heart was beating fast for an hour.

But fortunately I didn't connect the mobile before plugging. 🤣

I did it in class 5 😂at that time i didn't have much idea about ac and dc electricity⚡😂the lights of my whole house went off 😂

I did this in 1985, may be I started it first.

I did something similar, except I took a motor and a phone charger, plugged the charger in but left it hanging out just far enough, touched the leads to the prongs and then the socket turned black
