"I’ll be snatching when I’m 80 😘

Prior to picking up a kettlebell for the first time, the snatch was THE most intimidating movement to me. I thought it was the “back killer.” That I’d eventually, and inevitably, slip a disc. That idea is so far from true.

When done correctly, snatches actually help with lower back strength. Lower back muscles don’t do all the work, but they definitely do some of it.

It’s not risky to do snatches. In fact, as we age, it’s more risky not to do them.

Habits over motivation. Systems over goals. Get outside and touch some grass."
