Main Peach in Melee, mained her in Brawl and I main her in Sm4sh. She's definitely underrated in 4. Takes a lot of work in the lab, but it's worth it and it absolutely helps to have played her in previous games.

I'm just going to bring this up for safety's sake, but EOE, a Peach main from Ireland, managed to win an Irish tournament using only (or, at least, mostly) Peach.

I've been a Peach main since Melee, and although she's no longer at the same level, she is much better than her Brawl incarnation and requires incredible prowess to play correctly. Stuck with Peach from the start of Sm4sh and still cannot say that I've fleshed out all of her potential. Unfortunately, it took a major top 8 placement at Paragon to bring her into the limelight (kudos to Slayerz), but the end justifies the means. I feel as though we'll see her rise from her arguable placement in high mid-tier to perhaps a comfortable position in high-tier? She still has issues with projectile camping and a subpar ground game, but she is brutal once she begins to pressure. I feel as though Peach has all the tools to perform well in tourneys, but still has poor matchups against the top tiers, like ZSS, Rosa, and Sheik. Thanks for the video, ZeRo, and I'm only looking forward to what this means for the Peach meta!

I've been maining Peach for 3 months, training everyday. I changed my input settings, I started trying everything I could find on Youtube or Smashboards, and i still got a loong way to go. After 3 months I think I mastered only 15-20% of her potential. She's got really infinite setups, combos and tricks, you just have to be creative. Absolutely the hardest character in Sm4sh, along with Shulk, but it's worth the time and the dedication you put in your playstyle.

Yeah, she's amazing technically, but nobody'll use her because nobody wants to put above average effort into a character for this game. They'd rather be safe and choose characters like Sheik and Rosa. That's the reason a lot of people don't like to watch Smash 4, because nobody wants to put the same effort into it that they put in Melee.
