This afternoon we had 2,160kg of collected expanded polystyrene to be recycled.
This material has been dropped off by residents that have attended our Community Recycling Drop Off Events. Our onsite EPS machine removes all the air and condenses this material for easy storage prior to collection and transportation.
This material is pelletised, turned into a filament and used in 3D printers to make recycled products.
