Tim Hortons recently changed their lids from styrene (#6 plastic) to polyprolylene (#5 plastic), making them recyclable

Thank you for sharing your knowledge, I had a question about the combination of expanded polystyrene with gasoline, how and with what material or materials can the glue obtained from this combination be diluted?

What do you do with it after you bring it to the recycling plant and get the styrene out of the acetone?

I just went to la belle province and the guy behind the counter poured super hot fries on a styrofoam plate. The fries basically melted in the plate making me think that some of it leeched out into my food.

I was having such a good night until this guy decided to be irresponsible. Am I overexagerating? They should have just used some paper plates. I would have thrown the fries away but I convinced myself it was ok because it was only once in a blue moon.

Anyone?
