When Akhenaten came to power, he recreated the religious universe by doing away with polytheism and insisting his subjects worship Aten, the sun god. He also gave himself, and his queen Nefertiti, a sacred promotion.

You said it - religion is power. One reason Akhenaten did away with the old gods is that it by doing so he cut back the power of the priests ....

Some Pharoahs were Nubian (darker skinned) and others were not. The fact is that Lower Egypt (the north) is right at the top of Africa. The darkest skinned Africans are from Central Africa.
Naturally their skin color doesn't really matter. They were all kings and I'm sure the ancients didn't question their power based on nothing more than skin color.

Ancient Egyptian "queens" were referred to as female kings, since their language did not have a word for queen.

Also, Akhenaten lived during the late 8th dynasty, which at the time the word Pharaoh didn't exist either. The title only came into their culture during the 19th dynasty, so calling king's who lived earlier than the 19th dynasty Pharaohs is inaccurate and misleading.

According to the latest genetic testing of mummies, ancient Egyptians were similar to populations from the Levant ( Israel, Jordan & Syria) with European admixture. Sub-Saharan genetic influence increased in Egypt over the last two thousand years due to trade and slavery.

All related to Hazrat Yousuf's time. He was the sole reason for the conversion of Akhnetun and he preached teachings of one God at that time in Egypt.

History is not as racist as everyone thinks. There were no literal borders and everyone lived everywhere. No wonder, Egypt was the center of the world for many. They didn’t care as much as we do now.

Need more logic? If the Nile is the only source of water, food and material far and wide, wouldn’t you live there too?

Funny how all throughout the turbulence of akhenaten’s reign, that the only true contribution and legacy of their time, is a single plaster bust of nefertiti’s face found in a carver’s workshop

The idea that people(Afrocentric) believe that Queen Nefertiti was a dark skinny black women is absolutely absurd I think the ancient pharaohs of Egypt would have looked more like the people of the modern day Egyptians we see today meaning she was not white or black

I need to understand something, if akhenatens dad was king amenhotep III and mom queen Tiye, who were both of black race, that means akhenaten would be dark skinned, and he is the father of king tut, how then do they say king tut was like us
