You’ve lived through Akhenaten’s “blasphemy”, his successor has finally returned your people to the “old ways”, and this afternoon you just learned your young vigorous albeit moderately inbred Pharaoh (you know, the human embodiment of divinity and order in a universe of chaos, the literal glue of your world) has just 1: been run over by his own chariot, 2: touching the bare unconsecrated ground directly, that 3: he’s dead, Jim, 4: some of his precious internal organs (ya know, for the sacred jar things to ensure a successful trip through the underworld) are damaged beyond recognition, and 5: There’s no clearly defined successor ANNND
6: oh dear, the Sun is already starting to set in the sky.

The institution of Ahkenaten's "monotheism" was a political act to take away the power of the priests of Amun in Thebes who had become more powerful than the pharaoh. Ahkenaten threw out the Amun priests from the temples and carved out the name of Amun from temples in Thebes and many other temples throughout Egypt. There is no indication that anyone at all switched their religious devotion from Amun to the Aten ( or to Ahkenaten as the high priest of the Aten himself as he wanted). And Amun was the only god affected. The people continued to worship the other gods throughout Egypt. Ahkenaten's tantrum lasted 10 years at the most after which the Amun temples were completely and immediately restored. The effect on Egypt's religion was non-existent. It went on as before. Monotheism would have to wait another thousand years until the Jews instituted the worship of Yahweh as their only god.

Once your researcher mentioned a reference to the Sun Hymn in the Psalms, you lost all credibility. Did you think we would not notice how you make that claim and then immediately move on without presenting evidence?

Ps 104 is one of a number of psalms which relate God’s sovereignty over all creation. The sun is mentioned only once between v20 and v30, and only in the context of other creatures, including darkness, lions, birds, and nations. To claim the Sun Hymn is in the psalm has about as much credibility as claiming it can be found in the writings of Shakespeare.
