Connie can blame herself for it but the damage is already done.

This movie is too deep emotionally. I am referring to conflicting emaotions. From his perspective, he was burning inside knowing that she was sleeping with someone else. It deeply hurts to think that someone whom you love, is not loyal to you. It hurts even more to know that she is thinking about the other person even after all that happened. From her perspective, she knew she did wrong but she was emotionally attached to the other person. She was deeply hurt knowing that her lover is no more. She wanted to love her husband but can't take the thoughts of her lover from mind. At last, she tried to burn the pitures to forget him and a faint desire to change the past. If only she would have taken the taxi home that day then he would have been alive. As final thought, she only wanted him to live happily. I can totally relate to the emotions. The movie is well made.
