How to convert LUTs into Lightroom PRESETS

This is a quick tutorial on how to convert your favorite LUT into a Lightroom Preset using no tools other than Photoshop and Lightroom.

FOR WINDOWS users! get the dialogue box to open at 0:23, you need to click the 3 ellipses but keep your mouse button pressed, now drag the pointer (with left mouse button still pressed) over the "create preset" option, then press and hold ALT and then release your mouse button. Ridiculous, but it works!

AWSOME! Thank you. Is it possible to then export them from LR into a folder so I can upload a whole folder into other LR on my other computer? Id rather not have to do this twice.

this is NOT a preset, it's a profile, which is totally different.

This shows how to load a LUT into a Color PROFILE, NOT INTO A PRESET. Preset menu isn't able to accept a LUT. I have been trying to figure this out for a long time. Unless you could come up with a video as to how to load multiple LUTs into one Profile, because when you apply your Second profile in Lightroom, the first one is removed. We need this ability to apply two effects to an Infrared photo in lightroom for a large number of photos to create infrared timelapse.

On Mac when I try to load the .cube file it says "Unable to load the color lookup table. There was an unexpected end of file error." Would you know a fix to this? pls and thank you

📢PSA! if this didn't work for you, you might need to reset your Lightroom Preferences. I deleted inside of Library > Preferences and that fixed my problem of the Profiles not showing up in Lightroom.
