Thanks! You went above and beyond. I'm new to BRAW and was just looking for how to turn on the LUTs for my new cameras. You also made it easy to add and organize my own and more importantly, that section on the nodes literally made me finally understand what the heck a Node, is and how the order plays a role.

Thank you so much for this ! Straight to the point and very helpful as I am completely unfamiliar with LUTs and Davinci (used to use Final Cut Pro). Presentation and clarity matter so much in any kind of tutorial and yours was perfect !

Finally! I've been stand offish with using LUTs in my workflow even though I have the equipment and means to incorporate it but I have been pushing myself to try new things in my workflow in order to grow as a cinematographer. Thank you for this video. Davinci is my software of choice and I needed to know how easy it can be to use LUTs to color correct accurately/ effectively. You're the man!

Thanks for showing us your way. Great video.
As a side note, you made a video about point tracking and your way is the best I ever found. I probably watched that video 10 times because everytime I needed go point track green screen, I looked it up again.

Thanks for posting!! 🔥💪

I think the Film LUTS should be applied after a clip has been converted to rec709 with the associated camera colorspaces AND then converted to Cineon Log. After it is properly converted to CIneon Log the film LUTS can properly be applied. You will still need a CC node before before the nodes, but Cineon Logspace is the standard because film LUTS are created specifically for Cineon Log files. Just my two cents. :) I was composite on a couple Spider-man movies and that's how we rolled. :)

Your method will work and will get good results, but each film stock LUT will be altered in the process.

Thank you so much for the quick tip video, straight to the point and helpful especially to someone just switching from Premiere Pro to Davinci and still learning, the problem when applying LUT you pointed out is the same issue with many premiere pro users, I was just wondering how this can be corrected in Davinci resolve and here I found your video. Thank you!
