It comes to government jobs don't be demanding to the hiring manager or have a difficult personality!
Most definitely don't try to change your job position and title before you start working there! I know this to be a Big Factor my wife is director of HR now and she's always stated the ones in the beginning being difficult will always be difficult through their employment and going out the door! So basically check yourself and be humble! Remember government never fires anybody its only recourse is to stop you from getting in! 😂

What if you get a tentative offer, you complete all pre-employee requirements, get a final offer with a location that is not suitable but you request a different location since the announcement said “location negotiable after selection” then they rescind your tentative and final offer ?
