“Let’s try reverse… that’s backwards.” Bond (Roger Moore) and Amasova (Barbara Bach) try and escape in Jaws’ van in THE SPY WHO LOVED ME (1977). Director Lewis Gilbert remembers getting a crick in his neck on the first day of filming with Richard Kiel, because the actor was so tall. “He was a remarkable size, but like all giants, he was sweet and charming and a real pussycat.”

Jaws being indestructible was always one of the hilarious points - he's fallen out of airplanes without a chute and just walked away.

I went to this Egyptian temple myself a few years ago and man do I have to give Roger Moore credit for being able to walk around in a freaking tuxedo like that in a heat of over 40 celsius!!

"Can he play any other tune?" 😂 😂 Even in a life or death situation, Moore's Bond always had a one liner! My favourite Bond

Jaws is one of my fav henchmen in the series. Can be intimidating and funny at the same time. Loved it when dropped that rock on his own foot. Love the Roger Moore films as well.

Barbara Bach was one of the absolute top shelf Bond girls. Beautiful, strong, complex and vulnerable, she had it all. She's a big part of why this is probably the best of the Moore Bonds.

There's no doubt that Moore added a fun and cheerful character to the series, and you can't help but love him even if he's not your favorite Bond.

Gotta love how much fun Bond is having while messing with her as Jaws is tearing the vehicle apart 😂😂

Bond fumbling with the keys is the funniest Roger Moore bit.

Only Roger Moore would stay calm in this situation. Other Bond actors wouldn't do it with humour and this is what makes Moore different from all the other bonds.

Jaws is certainly a deadly henchman but has a very funny sense of humour

The van is a Layland DAF. I had one once and it fell to bits all by itself without Jaw's help!

One of the top 3 Bond films. You get a lot Moore with Roger, a lot Moore...:))

Richard Kiel was a VERY LARGE MAN!! When I was a kid, he scared me to death in several films, like "Silver Streak".

Yeah, couldn't have this hilarious scene today. Great stuff though, classic Bond.

Like Wile E. Coyote, you can’t help but like Jaws. Best Bond villain ever.
