Daru is manipulative individual. he mentors everyone but Est, holds back his power so Est is put in danger, prompting him to be kicked out, and even knew kicking out Est would put the leader in danger. He clearly was removing Est form the equation. NTR is a valid tag for this, they want you to cheer for the guy stealing Est's childhood love. The mage is even transparent about wanting the female lead for herself and also holding back. They practically tried to kill Est.

So, Est gets hurt, and instead of his friend confessing her worried about not forgiving herself if he dies, she decides to betray him and dump that regret of uselessness onto Est.

So when the leader gets weaker, they encourage her to get stronger, but when the MC gets weaker they kick he out?… Okay.

Its kinda crazy that they can have proper talk with a new team member but not the guy who they was in a party with for years

Est is written as a villain, but the other characters are so unlikable that you can't help but to root for him.

I hate these kind of people who say "we banished you for your own safety"
They act like est didn't know the risk of dying as an adventurer and he still became one knowing the risks and trusted that his "friends" will have his back but they clearly couldn't trust him to get stronger.
In my POV est didn't just get kicked out but also disrespected they didn't care about his pride as an adventurer like he was a child who thought adventurers don't die and just becomes some fairy tale hero.
Sorry if this too long it just frustrates me.

The stupidest part of this plot is that Daru has healing magic but doesn't use it to help Est. Despite revealing this hidden fact, nobody notices. Meanwhile they all proclaim they will wait for her to get stronger. But they won't wait for him right? Daru is the villain here.

For those confused:
The mc is actually Daru, and the "villain" is Est (the one who gets kicked out). Daru and the mage both held back for selfish reasons and the reader is supposed to feel bad and cheer them on as they struggle while also hate Est for looking down on them. I do recommend not reading this story due to its abrupt cancelation from low sales and even lower reviews. The overall story ends with Aethena and Est shaking hands and deciding to see who party reaches the top in a VERY open-ended finale (light novel ended abruptly because the story dragged on and nobody connected with the characters besides Est). It's a nonsensical, poorly written, boring story at best

You can't convince me that Est is the bad guy in this story. His party kicked him "For being weak" and then the group setup a double standard when it turns out he was pulling more weight than they expected. When it's the leader who is weak, let's all have a special vacation at a spa! What childhood friend could ever betray a friend on so many levels and then turn their back to him. She didn't even care to check up on him after she kicked him, knowing who he is, she should have known he would try and do something desperate. And if it wasn't for him gaining a special ability, he would have died then and there, nulling the entire reason for her kicking him from the group.

Stardust are the villains. Est is the hero. Daru hid that he had healing magic. He refused to explain his situation right away. And he actively continues to push Est away from his childhood friend, meanwhile he allows himself to move in on them and get as close to the group as he likes. It basically all but lets us read into his mind to see his plan of him wanting Est out of the way to have the childhood friend to himself. Daru could have fixed and said a lot before, but he was content to let people make their own mistakes and reap the benefits.

The sooner the Author gets in their head that their hero group are unlikable assholes, the better.

I don't get it, what was Athena supposed to be protecting? Usually if you want to protect someone you would want him near you. So now Est is out there adventuring, and you have no idea if he is overdoing it and if he IS in danger, you can't do diddly squat about it. If he died adventuring without the team, she literally sent him out to die.

"Boo hoo my childhood friend could die if he stays with us. We should tell him to leave for his own good and try to support him... Nah that's dumb lets just put him down and kick him out thatll be good. waaah why did we kick him out this wasnt supposed to happen waaah." Am I supposed to sympathize with these people or what?

You don't know her like I do

Proceeds to list off a bunch of qualities she empirically didn't really have at least until after his banishment even from an audience prospective

She didn't have to work hard because Est was, banished her friend, and didn't have any self awareness of her strengths and what is this simp talking about

worst thing about this is that its not in Est's prospective but the dude who basically took his place. this might as well be NTR of all NTR where the character doesn't just lose the girl but the whole dang story.

If you were watching this to get the watch about the guy who got kicked out you're watching the wrong video. Instead this video is about the people regretting their choices for kicking the guy out in their point of view...

So wait it's not about the guy who got kicked out then?

Est is the REAL hero in this story. Absolutely nothing can convince me otherwise

Daru has to be one of the worse character ever. Clown. Doesn’t get any type of serious until the party kicks out Est? They could have helped him awaken but only did the most convenient option and abandon him. Glad EST gets smart and doesn’t go back even after misunderstanding is cleared.

Isn't this the one that where the autor pretend that it is a story of the party the banished the dude regretting it, but the real mc is a guy who is basically NTRing and they really don't actually regret it and the banished dude is constantly painted in a negative light and is constantly compared with the perfect mc who is incapable of solving any misunderstanding?

ShiNijuuAKL

Yeah the leader of the group is at fault, she could have just talking to the mc about the problem

I get what they were going for, but the execution is horrid. Sure you can make the argument that you were worried for his safety, but how else is someone supposed to take it if his teammates just abandoned him out the blue, with the only explanation being that he wasnt strong enough? Y'all got noticeably weaker after the Est was kicked out but never made the decision to quit out of fear of dying in, ya'll decided to train and get stronger. So why not train Est so that he could get stronger? Why bannish him? Simply talking it out and would've been a much better decision. Est had every right to be angry, even if it was a misunderstanding because none of you took the time to explain the situation.
