If you get the directX error on launch try to set your game to window mode instead of exclusive fullscreen with ALT + ENTER the moment it get's into fullscreen.

Bruh I'm able to launch BO6 and find games, but I get the N error in the middle of my matches which is extremely frustrating. CPU is a 5800X3D

I have been searching for a fix for months. if youre still having issues like i did with the game crashing as soon as you start up or about 45 seconds being in the game, you MUST uninstall any controller remapping applications. i had reWasd installed and for the past few months i couldnt play any COD. but now i can finally play the game. hope this helps somebody!

I can't believe this worked, had tried literally everything before. Not a single crash since. Can't believe in 2024 we are having to UNDERCLOCK our hardware in order for AAA games to run properly.

Im on AMD CPU and have beta through Game Pass and this worked for me: Delete the cache files on this location "(Location of cod in your file explorer) Call Of Duty Modern Warfare III\Call of Duty\Content\mp24\main" and also delete this "Call Of Duty Modern Warfare III\Call of and delete the 3 files with this name "s.1.0.cod24" on this location "Documents\Call of Duty\players" and then verify the files on the Xbox App.
