After 2 weeks of searching for a solution to this problem to no avail, to the point where I did a windows clean re-install, switched out RAMs, and BIOS update along with all the other miniscule solutions posted here and everywhere.

What fixed it for me, was one of these 3 solutions:
1- Right Click on the main drive (game install drive) -> Properties - > Go to Tools Tab -> Click Error Checking -> Scan drive (For me it found some errors and I was prompted to restart the PC to fix them)
2- Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+ESC) - > Start Up-> Disable all the underlying software. (Followed by a restart)
3- Uninstall MSI Afterburner (with deleting its existing settings when prompted). (Followed by a restart)
I have some of you find this helpful, as I know how frustrating this issue can be, both mentally and physically.
Please like if this works for you to reach more people.

This appeared today with the new patch... thank you! Also as I just did as you said in the video, it crashed soon after the launch, though the game did not freeze as it did before.

the "ctrl + a" is not relevant. just right click on the folder and delete.
"ctrl + a" is just to mark everything in the folder. in this case useless ^^

The fix that worked for me is reverting back to GeForce Game Ready Driver ver. 460.89...i have not crashed since. So If you have an nvidia gpu I suggest you do this.

Hopefully it's been working for your guys! It's been working for me. I just went to play zombies and forgot to delete the cache folder, and of course the fucking error happened. 😂 Whenever I've deleted the cache folder prior to playing, it's worked every single time.

Сlean reinstallation of windows helped.

Same computer, same overclock. Just another ssd:

- clean install

- only nvidia, logitech and CW
