Unimogs are nice, except if you do get stuck and need assistance most tow truck companies will not have a tow truck that can reach you or be big enough to pull you out, most places are not going to carry the size of tires that unimogs run and most places or parts stores may or may not have any parts available for a Unimog they may have stuff for a Mercedes car or SUV. As for me when I go traveling I see a lot of Toyotas or Nissans some Jeeps so both places in the world are going to have those parts most junk yards will have parts available for those vehicles in third world countries not so much unimogs unless there was a un peacekeeping Force there or some other military that used unimogs😢

You should try driving one of these with night vision goggles up a wet rutted track with trees on ether side 😂. Day time it can tackle any thing.

Depends on where in the world you are. If you're touring Africa or South America in a Mog and it breaks down, you might be stuck for a while before the parts arrive.

It'll always be Jeeps and anything similar in size and capability. Unimog is great if you're trying to haul a few tons in the back. But on a trail, it's just too big and too cumbersome. A Wrangler, Bronco, Rover, or G-Wagon properly equipped will out wheel a Unimog any day.

The 8x8 from Faun and MAN puts them out of the mud, When they get stucked
