‪A quick fix for non addressable RGB fans if you’re fans are spinning but no LED. These are non addressable LEDs so power for fan and led in standard 4 pin plug. Might have to reboot to take effect. Could have also used a 4 pin molex to 4 pin fan header adapter with the same effect. Full speed 12V power.

(Don't put case fans in the CPU fan headers which are clearly marked)

A lot of addressable RGB fans use a controller which needs to be plugged into a motherboard USB header. Then they will also need controlling software specific to the manufacturer. I'll list a couple of popular ones below.

You sir, are a gentleman, and a scholar! I had this exact issue, but simply opted to connect the fans directly to the power supply, using the molex connector. Went back to my fan splitter, changed the fan setting, and it indeed works.

I had the same issue but easy fix for me.

Basically the power wire powering the little GIM hub was the issue. Even when the wire is slotted in or "clicks" in it still needs to be pushed in further with a little more force.

I put the wiring in all the way then applied a small amount of force and all lights came on. Before was just fans spinning.

Thanks bro. I was wondering why the rear fan light didn't turn on when it was spinning. Now it turns on.

Also, you should be able to use software to adjust speeds once booted. Put the fans at full speed in bios, then use software to adjust. Or depending on what setup you have and which software, you may only need the software.

Great video! I have a 2024 CLX gaming PC and its got a RGB fan controller just inside the back panel. Sometimes you have to unplug and replug in the RGB cables in to the controller before the lighting will come back on. I suppose the controller card itself could fail but thankfully i haven't run in to that. My issue was that the lighting on the 3 fans at the top for the liquid cooler radiator quit working. I noticed that a tap on the back panel brought them back on. Ultimately it was the scenario of replugging the cables in to the controller, with the CLX supports help.
