POWER Brakes (how hard can it be?) Pro-Touring V8 Powered Triumph Build – LS Powered GT6R – Ep35

Well it's been too long, but during our break, we've been working on... the brakes! So let's see what that looks like.

It's been an answered question for a while now, but due to the size of our Crown Victoria and C4 Corvette brake calipers, we've chosen to add power assistance in an effort to hit our long term goals. That being, a balanced car, where the throttle, steering, clutch and (yes) brakes, all feel appropriately weighted.

It's hard to say if we'll be exactly where we want to be, but with a hair of adjustability built in, we should be able to get close.

We'll talk more about pedal ratios, cylinder sizes and math next time, but rest assured, it's been one heck of a learning curve for me!

Couldn’t help thinking while watching this that anyone can fit up a power brake booster in a full size vehicle. The real trick is fitting one up on a Mattel matchbox car!!!

Fantastic work mate. Those sort of projects keep you scratching your head for a while, but when you are done it is the most satisfying. I also hope for your sake you did get yourself a lathe. I underestimated how much I would use it before I got one.
