Bachelor’s Degrees in Earth and Environmental Sciences

Arjun Heimsath, a professor at ASU, is known for his research on the Earth's surface and how it interacts with climate, humans and geology. A Guggenheim Fellow, Heimsath teaches Earth and environmental sciences at the School of Earth and Space Exploration and was part of developing the online programs. ASU offers both a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science in Earth and environmental sciences online. “When I was developing the online courses for Earth and environmental sciences,” Heimsath said, “one of the important aspects of it was to maintain the rigor and the depth of study that the students are getting.”
