Definitely of the most practical martial arts I've seen even thru YouTube. Takedown, punch, and walk away when you still can. Attackers don't play fair.

Karate works in the street in tournaments. A quick reverse punch to the solarplex then a takedown always works.

Movement is truely universal and transcending arts... I saw: Morote Seoi Nage, Ippon Seoi Nage, Osotogari, Ouchi Gari, Kouchi Gari and some other I couldnt name. Where are the Kata Gurumas and Morote Gari? Aren't they part of some Karate syllabus too?

I'm a 2nd degree blackebelt in karate and I've also had quite a few bar fights under my belt during my time as a paratrooper. Honestly u don't get to pick and choose ur opponents height and weight. These throws rely heavily on an opponent whose somewhat stationary. More times than not they will be in an andrenaline rush and it'll be very hard to pull these off. Also, they won't always be wearing sleeves. If ur hands r small, u might not be able to grab wrist control so easily. Further more, u would.need to practice ur timing and technique to near perfection to able to pull these off. I can see this being more practical of you incorporate into a kata you practice. It's much more effective if u just slant their jaw sideways with a vicious hook rather than try and do.a throw.
