I am wondering if the NUC12WSHi7 has the same defective Thunderbolt ports as the NUC11PAHi7 & NUC11PAHi5.
If you attach a NVME drive in an enclosure such as the Sabren to either Thunderbolt 3 port and run ATTO Disk Benchmark on the drive
you will get system a Error code 1117 is generated by Windows operating system and is always
caused by Input / Output (I/O) throughput issues with either the disk or the controller that it is attached to.
The error is unrecoverable; you have to pull the power plug.
