Bryan Kohberger’s sisters have both reportedly been fired due to his alleged crimes. There is no evidence to suggest either of Kohberger’s sisters are involved in the killings in any way, so was it legal to fire them?

They were penalized for a biological accident. We don't choose our siblings nor do we control them. This is awful.

Shame on the companies who fired these innocent young ladies.

Hopefully some company comes along and offers them both far better jobs than the ones that they previously had. Hopefully this can end up working in their favor. They don’t deserve this.

How horrible that their companies didn’t stand behind them and support them in their times of need. Shame on them!

Thank you for bringing this up! Seems so unfair 💔

I think they both should file lawsuits for unfair, firing or unjust firing. Whatever it’s called in their state. They’re not responsible for their brothers actions anymore than the parents are. However, if it was me, I would definitely go by my mothers maiden name from here on out.

That’s really unjust. How can be fired for something you had absolutely nothing to do with. This one case where the employers need to be sued

When I heard this, I was so heartbroken for them, their family is struggling financially because of it. Who they're related to has no relation to how well they can do their job. Just unfair, especially since Bryan is technically innocent until proven guilty. I hope someone gives them another chance!

This is so sad! What is wrong with people. Also, innocent until proven guilty is for Bryan not his family. Breaks my heart.

I would hate to be judged by my siblings’ actions, who are not nice people.

Meaning all family members must suffer for the sins of one sibling? Truly sad and inhumane.

What you should be telling us is WHO these companies are so we can avoid them at all cost!!

PA's "At Will" clause is complete bull shit. I was also a victim of this flaw years ago when I worked at a child care center while in college. My boss left for a 2 week vacation, so an assistant manager from a nearby branch was brought in to fill in for her. I never met this woman before, but for some reason she instantly took a disliking to me. She said unprofessional things about me to other workers (who of course told me as I was their friend) and then one day she brought me in the office and fired me. I asked for a reason, and she, on the spot, made up "because I saw you trying to force feed Christian", who was my favorite baby (15 mths old at the time) that I had been with for over a year. I was shocked. Christian was always stealing MY food lol. Plus, there was always 2 or more teachers in the room, and the other teacher immediately jumped to my defense about the false allegation. I demanded she pull the camera footage & show me doing what I was accused of and she refused.

After I left that day I called a lawyer. I was told that PA is an "at will" state meaning employers can fire you for any reason or no reason at all so long as it is not discrimination. I was shit out of luck. So I immediately got a new teaching job at a competitor center nearby, and not only did 6 of the teachers up & quit to come work with me over the next 2 months, but over a dozen parents pulled their kids from the center & switched to my new center...

Including Christian.

Totally unfair that they were judged and penalized for the sins of their brother. And the fact that they were both therapists makes me question their employers ethical treatment of their patients and remaining staff.

Yes. His sisters are victims. Everyone is a victim of Bryan Kohberger now.

I believe that his family has nothing to do with his actions and it’s really sad people would ruin their life and careers when they have no fault .

This is a horrible case, but maybe it will shed light on how horrible "work at will" laws are. Imagine having kids to feed and rent to pay, and just being told one day that you're fired for no reason. That's what work at will laws do. They are heinous and should be eliminated. Maybe the sisters can start a non-profit and a movement to end these laws.

Ive been watching a series on YouTube about the siblings of killers, they are victims too. Not only did they live with extreme guilt from the crimes but they lost their loved one to the death penalty and felt guilty for mourning them. These women shouldn't be punished for what that monster did as they too are victims.

They are collateral damage. Thanks bro.

They should not be held responsible. This is so disturbing 😭
