They tried to sponsor my channel. They sent them out and I was shocked by how poor they were. You could tell they were just rebranded trash from Alibaba. I am actually shocked that so many YouTubers were promoting them. I would feel awful if one of my subs bought them on my recommendation

Oohh, he threw a period on there. These are trash, huh?

I have a friend who got them before I knew them. I’ve warded many a poor bloke away from raycons, but alas this man rayconned before I could educate him. Needless to say, I’m now researching alternatives at his request/my offer

A good rule of thumb is that whenever you see a company promote a product so hard to the point of annoyance, it's likely said product is full of shit the company behind the product spent more time on marketing instead of making something good

I’m gonna learn how to use my raycons that I bought with honey. Skillshare should be able to help, and after that with square space I’ll make a website on how to do so using either NORD VPN or Express VPN. After that I’ll go to my bathroom and shave with my $5 starter set from dollar shave club. Before a nice day ends I’ll get on my phone and play some Raid Shadow Legends. After my daily raid session is over, I’ll count how much money I have in my ridge wallet. I’ll fall asleep to the nice soothing sounds of whales banging one another on my Raycons.

“I think you owe RonDons an apology hey”
Out of all the incorrect ways he pronounced that name, this one is definitely the best in my eyes

The biggest red flag for me was just how expansive their marketing attack was. Sure sign of poor product when 99% of the budget is marketing.

The Snoop Dogg endorsement is such a funny selling point to me. Y’all, Snoop will endorse anything. Snoop endorsed Hot Pockets

The fact that NO ONE was talking about this, except for sponsored ads was a huge redflag, if a product is good you will see reviews, comments, discussion and everything about it, and yes, maybe ads, but never ONLY ads

how to be a sponsor of 98% of youtube:
step one: Sell a crappy product for twice the price
Step two: search for a poor man
step three: profit

I talked to a successful lawyer at my work once, and I asked if he has one of those “side of the bus” ads. He told me “the lawyers who do their job good DONT NEED a bus advertisement or a ‘call 444-4444’ ad.” I think the same applies to rAyBons

To be honest, all these ads for the Raycons almost convinced me to buy them. And you, good sir, saved me a lot of money. You literally convinced me to buy the other wireless ones without even TRYING to. Gotta respect the hustle

They spent all their money on maketing, they couldn't afford to make a quality product

It's always heartwarming when the cheaper options are superior or at least a good alternative to overpriced options.

I also recently bought racoons. They are adorable, try to wash everything before they eat it. Like cats, but with even weirder personalities.

The four horsemens of YouTube ads:

1.) raid shadow legends
2.) raycons earbuds
3.) honey
4.) nord vpn
Honorable mention : audible by amazon

My favorite part of my Raycon experience was their customer service did a nice job of issuing me a full refund on their trash product

A bit sad that many content creators I enjoy promote these but at the same time I guess I can also be happy now that I know they're taking money from a shitty company. Just wish they didn't have to do advertisements that might actually get people to buy em.
