Infant CPR (Baby CPR)

If a baby does not respond and is not breathing normally, call 911. Check for a brachial pulse for no more than 10 seconds. If there is no pulse, begin CPR on the infant. CPR should be performed with two fingers in the center of the chest, on the sternum, between the nipples for 30 compressions followed by two breaths. Repeat this process until EMS arrives, an AED becomes available, or advanced life support arrives.

I think ALL hospitals, family unit centers, should offer a free crash course on Infant CPR, to new parents.This should be mandatory.Pre or post delivery of the baby.

However, I do wish there would have been a more indepth step by step instruction as well as showing us exactly what you were demonstrating or talking about on certain things. Like for instance the mask sizes and tricks to make an adult size work for an infant, etc.

Question what if you don't have the breathing tools and you just don't have anything how would you do mouth to mouth can you still open the baby's mouth up and breathe hard or breathe normally
