Показать описание
The AMD R9 9950X (R9) CPU's release date is August 15, 2024, and this review and benchmark tests the new CPU vs. the R9 7950X, the R7 7800X3D, the R7 9700X, and more. Intel comparisons include the 14900K and 14700K, and we hope to soon evaluate Intel's new microcode. The R9 9950X will be joined shortly by the R9 9900X CPU, which will be launching on the same day. Although the 9950X is one of the best CPUs for workstation applications right now, the R7 7800X3D remains the best overall gaming PC CPU for 2024.

Man, i can't wait for the most anticipated showdown - 5800X3D vs 7800X3D vs 9800X3D. This is the benchmark everyone cares about.

I'm so glad that AMD is putting out CPUs that is competitive with the 5600x3D in gaming.

I was one of the people going through the stages of grief after the first zen 5 video. I have now come to accept zen 5 performance for what it is and that one day we will all die and everything will become dust. Thank you for helping me see, Master GN.

I have acquired a sacrificial goat and the moon is in the correct alignment, time to park those cores.

Everybody being conflicted about zen5 until 2 AMD engineers appear on camera with liquid nitrogen and an RBG pot

AMD's ability to keep releasing new cpus to advertise for the 5800x3d and 7800x3d is impressive

AMD is suuuuch a gentleman when it comes to giving their competitors a level playing field.

You guys leaving the 7950X3D out of these tests are killing me.

4:52 AMD acting like it is even remotely okay to push a product to market that requires this - frankly insane - level of user intervention *just to work properly* - when the average consumer doesn't even know how to open the command prompt.

This year disappointment t-shirt will be sold only in XXL size or bigger because there will be so much stuff to put on it...

I feel like it's wild that core parking as a solution made it through to a production part. Anything that requires even that much user intervention just feels like it is going to have a dicey success rate.

I'm still a happy owner of the 5950X beast ! (Since Jun2 2022).
4 x sticks of 32GB = 128GB RAM (3600MHz at 16-16-16-39)
ASRock RX 6900 XT OC Formula !
Mobo: Gigabyte X570S Aorus Master !
(not for gaming - i hate games)
I'm a professional programmer and it is my precious Workstation !!!

Got a used 7950X two weeks ago for 320 euros. Was a bit sceptical at the time but glad I went ahead, especially after checking all the reviews. Thanks Steve!

I love that one of your benchmarks is testing how long it takes to render your logo animation. That's really cool

Why is the 7950x3D missing from almost every single comparison chart??

2:36 missed a chance to say "it's got a cut corner without cutting corners"

Honestly all this shows is more how the 7800X3D may be AMD's equivalent to tbe 1080Ti. A constant thorn in the side by being *too* good for the price and especially as it ages.

- Constantly dropping into the 300$-400$ Price range
- No core parking problems
- Supreme Gaming Performance
- 65W average power draw
- Workstation Performance that usually lies within striking distance of the 5900X and at worst is around the speed of the 3900X which is more than enough for 90% of users in MT

I swear to God. How many times had AMD screwed up situations when both Intel and Nvidia were exposed to them?...
Basically every goddamn time the opportunity is not taken advantage of.
