Cool video topic Jay! I only have one true safe queen..the rest I use, but I do have some I'll likely never sell. One I'll definitely never sell is my Spyderco Shaman in M4 that I just had reground down to 9 thou bte thickness and put custom micarta scales and MXG deep carry clip on it. This thing cuts like a laser now, and I absolutely love i. It was a good knife before the regrind, but now it's a great knife..Not a safe queen though..I do use it. That's why I had the regrind done..so it cuts! My only true safe queen is the old Buck 110 I got for my birthday back in 1980. It's one of the last years they used 440c for the blade steel, plus it was a bday present from my brother so I'll be hanging on to it..it's lightly used so still in very good condition. The only other knife I currently own but I'll probably never sell is my Rat 1 that I made my own set of rosewood scales for. Doing that Shaman and the Rat 1 has lit the customization fire in me. Funny you showed your custom scale job on your Manix 2. I've been thinking of doing the same thing for one of mine, only I want to make it out of a combination of CF and wood. Doing mods like that yourself adds a hidden value of pride and satisfaction to the knife that you just can't hang a price tag on. I'm thinking of doing it for my Cruwear Manix with smooth G10. Although I actually do really like the smooth G10, I think a set of nice exotic burlwood scales would look awesome, and would be a fun project.

Thanks for the video! That’s a beautiful collection!💚💚💚
Btw, here’s a list of knives that I won’t probably ever sell:
1. Spyderco Lil’ Native — because my girlfriend gave it to me as a present (and because it’s the most capable wee knife I’ve ever handled)
2. Spyderco Para3 Lightweight for the same reason (also, the knife is so comfortable in hand and so enjoyable to fidget and cut with)
3. C.S. Broken Skull in CTS XHP for the same reason (and also because I just love this particular steel so much)
4. Fällkniven U2 because it’s a perfect wee knife to carry to uni in Germany (also, the laminated SGPS holds an edge forever)
5. The old Wenger Swiss army knife my grandpa gave me as a present when I was 5. This is the knife that started it all for me. The scissors and the diamond file this knife features are still second to none.

Thanks J, for another great video!
It's good to see that Manix 2 again, wearing your custom scales. I had forgotten about that one. It's been so long since we've seen it!

I have that M390 Ritter Grip as well, still new in box. A true, Safe Queen of mine. A few months ago, I put it up for sale though. Since the Super Freek and Gen 2 Ritter Hogue came out. In my mind, I have no reason to keep it anymore. Then, after it being up for sale, for several weeks, and continuing to lower the price. That darn thing, didn't sell, so I took it back off of the market.

I am blessed to have so many knives, that will never leave my side. It's so hard to decide, just where to begin in listing them. But after a few moments of thought. Here are some that did come to mind, pretty quickly.

A.G. Russell Knives Acies 3.625" in ZDP-189 (Circa 2011)
Kershaw Avalanche 1570 in CPM S60V Steel (Circa 2004)
Pacific Cutlery Laredo Knives Model 100, 102, and 103 (Pre-Benchmade Circa 1989)

All of my Manix 2 knives!

I don't have that many knives and have never sold one. But here we go, Microtech Ultratech, Microtech Ultratech Marfione semi both tanto, Benchmade Bushcrafter, ZT 0566, and a later made Marbles hunting knife my son has the matching Bowie to it. It's a very nice knife with burrell grip with stag end cap.

I have been collecting 30 years, never sold a knife, if I ever had to sell any, the five that would never go, a Bob loveless, drop point Hunter, a Randall number 14 attack, Chris Reeves Sebenza with ladder pattern Damascus, Medford infraction, Arno Bernard Orca. At least that's my pick for this particular minute.

I have a couple Ferrum Forge knives that they customized for me Fortis 2.0 and the Master Blaster. Also, my Microtech Ultratech Bounty Hunter I would never sell.

I collect and use, no safe queens. I won't sell any of mine, I might give a knife away and I might consider a trade on a couple but I don't see myself selling any of my babies. All that said here are my top 5 favorites.
1. SAK, I always have one on me, Tinker, Super Tinker, or Fieldmaster.
2. Benchmade Mini Grip, in blue. Its a near perfect small edc.
3. Cold Steel Code 4, I think I have 5 of them now and want a spear point in s30v. Some people pass on the code 4s due to the slippery scales, they have a new version now and I just throw trac tape on mine.
4. Benchmade full size Griptilian, I have 2 so far. They are great edc beater knives and come in a variety of options
5. Spyderco Manix 2. What's not to love and I am looking at the XL version too.

Hi Jay. Hope your christmas was great and i wish you a wonderful new year. The only knife i will never part with is my SAK Atlas. 1, it was a gift from my wife and 2, it is discontinued and 3, it is the only knife that is always with me. Either on my belt or in my edc bag. All the best.

Hi Knife Beater would you say the Kershaw Link has kind of replaced the Camber? Is it pretty similar?
