I’m a divorce attorney and my advice is to find a person whose habits and priorities you can accept. Would it be great if they match? Sometimes. But a functioning couple over the decades sometimes have acceptable but not matching skills and priorities. People become skilled in what they prioritize. A couple is more than the sum of its parts. But there are red flags that cannot be overlooked or changed. Things that should be absolutely unacceptable to anyone. Violence, evil and petty heart, things like that. He could be the most handsome charming devil and easy with his money, but don’t stay with that. It will crush your soul.

I was to take care of everything on the inside of the house, while he took care of the outside, which consisted of mowing once a week and changing the oil in the cars every 3 months.
