"Some might leave forever" that hit me hard.

My parents divorced when I was 3. But since I didn't really interact with my dad much as a baby, I didn't feel like I lost much. But for some reason I still feel... Not right. Seeing other kids happy with their moms and dads in the same house seemed a fantasy to me. My life is still okay, but being a black kid who moved from Africa to England, of course you can expect to not have a lot of money. I hope that a kid reads this and knows how thankful they should be to have two parents every day. Instead of having your dad 4 hours every Friday.

hey childline I just wanna say how annoying it is when I've been talking to someone on 1-2-1 counsellor chat and it's been like 35 mins and I get disconnected and have to tell my entire embarrassing story to a whole new person this is the 3rd time the 2nd one she was really helpful and made me very happy until my connection went off I feel like the whole conversation was pointless now and I wish there was a way to reconnect to them
