you can make shims out of aluminum stock to help with plumbing of posts, found the only way on a wood deck for a good instal

If possible, best to stay 2" away from edge of concrete when drilling into concrete in order to avoid compromising the strength of the concrete and, therefore, the strength, safety and longevity of your installation.

FYI, that is a SDS drill bit, it fits an SDS drill (go figure).

Im doing an install video for a hand Rail similar to the one you did. Im being paid to do a review on it, Mine had horrible instructions and I had to take it apart becausev I for got to out the Caps for the bottom on. I make videos everyday and this hand rail video Im doing has me feeling out of place.... I make videos about satirical type stuff and People Failing or falling.
