What makes him so special is how free he plays Tennis. No ground line play or anything. He plays whatever fits. He often trolls around but if you look, a lot of the times he decides to go for a winner and he knows what will be a winner. He isn't like many players who just go for the safest option. I could imagine his free play style has something to do with why his touch is so accurate.

Honestly if Kyrgios can repeat his 2022 season he would be a GS champion (singles) IMO, but its tough to say when he keeps coming in and out of the sport.

Down-the-line tweener at 6:45, underrated, not because of the shot itself, but he saw it hit the net and judged the spin correctly so the ball ended up between his legs. Could be some luck involved as well, still impressive though.

As a tennis player, that first shot of the vid is just off the charts insane. No one would think to attempt such a shot besides Kyrgios.

He was kind of completing the villain to hero arc for me. A total asshole at the begining of his career but he was maturing little by little and you can't deny he's one of the biggest talents this sport has seen.

It's like every other player leans every move, every foot position and tactic by the same book and Kyrgios knows all this stuff but chooses to not give a fuck and plays by his own rules. He sees the game different and that makes him the most entertaining player for me
