"Tricksters and thieves" is pretty spot on for the U.S. healthcare system.

Even "better" for Trojan...it's based on the idea of letting something inside, it broke open, and now everyone needs to deal with a bunch of dudes messing stuff up

the fact that all of the actual meanings of the symbols perfectly fit the companies is insane

I’m pretty sure Amazon was named after the rainforest because they used to just be a book retailer, and books come from trees

As a Percy Jackson fan, I literally can't see anything Greek mythology related without thinking of the actual myths (or a pjo scene, depending on what it is)

"You usually don't think of tall, built mythological women when you hear Amazon"

Well actually, about that-

I believe you underestimate my ability to think about Greek mythology every moment of my waking life

My favourite example of branding that gets *better* in context is Ajax' cleaning products being 'stronger than grease.'

Hearing an etymologist say "supposably" just rocked my worldview.

"In the end, none of this really matters" is my favorite description of language

There's a brothel in my city named Icarus, with the slogan being "give wings to your love". I always laugh when I see it

The caduceus can work for healthcare as Hermes was god of travelers too & doctors were counted under this (though Asclepius’ Rod would be a lot better)

Apparently, the mermaid on the Starbucks logo is Melusine, who is supposedly an ancestor of Queen Elizabeth Woodville (wife of Edward IV of England) and, therefore, also the ancestor of Queen Elizabeth II and the rest of the British royal family.

tbh these are unintentionally very accurate

As a Percy Jackson fan, I do think of Amazon and the Hermes staff as the Mythological things instead of the logos

As a physician it always annoys me so much to see Caduceus in so many medical things
