The lack of claiming in the movies pissed me off so much! Like wasn't the whole point to show that the gods didn't really give much of a crap about their kids and that was why so many half bloods were unclaimed?? People didn't just walk into camp and immediately get assigned the cabin that matched their godly parent.

It was such a huge plot point in the books that unclaimed children were stuffed into the Hermes cabin which was horrendously overrun; and then when Percy was claimed after all, he was relieved and lonely at the same time because he now was all alone in that huge ass monument.
I remember being so angry at the movies for ignoring that. I mean, the cabin looked cool if it had any other movie, but considering the circumstances it felt tone deaf. 😢
