(SPOILERS) Luz learn's the truth about Belos

Oh boy, this episode! The lore drops here were astounding! I could see some of them coming, but it was still super impactful when it was confirmed. I also enjoyed seeing the mind concept introduced in Understanding Willow (One of my favorite episodes of Season 1) Come back here. There were so many clips I wanted to include, but I decided to settle for arguably the most groundbreaking one. Hope you all enjoy this episode as much as I did!

I love how skilled the creators behind the Owl House are, that they made sure we already knew Belos was Phillip but were still able to make the reveal to Luz one of the most bone chilling moments ever in an animated show.

This is by far the darkest and saddest episode yet and we are not even on season 3 yet!!!!

Well technically Luz's point is still valid as she did realize that Philip wasn't as good natured as he let on whereas Philip took on the persona of Belos to fool people if they had known he was Philip all along people would've been far more weary of trusting him. Hopefully Luz gets some major counseling from Eda and Lilith specifically as she would similarly know what Luz is going through.

Anyone wonder if Terra Snapdragon found out about this she would help Luz stop Belos only so she could take the throne for herself.

It was glorious to watch this scene. People like Luz are so pure and innocent. And when that shifts into corruption, the chrysalys born from it not only provides a good show, but it can also add to their already beautiful souls.
The worst part of this comment, is that if this emotional damage was performed on me... actually, I would live well knowing Philip was Belos. My emotional capacity is more vulnerable when my mother is involved. Otherwise, it's either low or repressed by me.

The amount of times I’ve watched this episode, just to see the awesome villainy of belos in action.

This is taking a Broken Pedestal to a whole new level, as Luz emotionally learns that not only Philip, the first human in the Boiling Isles, was a jerk, but that he and Belos are the same person! Talk a wicked move like that for Philip/Belos to pull!

Once on the Travel channel they talked about this witch hunter (I forgot his name) called the witchfinder general he caught so many witches people started to suspect he was a witch and that's how he was able to find all of them! So they put him through the drowning test!
That's when a suspected witch's hand's are tied up and their thrown into a lake or river and if they drown their innocent but if they surface their guilty.

So she’s traumatized knowing the one human in the boiling isles she kinda looked up to is an evil, sadistic fuck… Damn. I’d have TRUST ISSUES TOO mama.

Just realized something....what if technically luz and philip created some sort of sellfmaking timeloop. Let me explain belos action make luz travel through time to accidentaly helping philip in his journey to become belos, however belos already met luz even though she didnt travel though time already, this is either a paradox or This might mean that time pools dont lead to an exact past but a different yet same past in a different timeline thus luz might have helped philip but in another timeline, then that philip will become belos, set luz on her path, that luz will go back in another timeline tricked into helping philip and so on forever. Just a possibility

Tho it is a bit disappointing, I was kinda hoping belos would be more morally complicated. I cant complain to much though becuase this show is for 11-14 year olds, kinda outta the age range now lol
