I love subbed anime but when it comes to games. ENG is my go to. Tried switching to JP in HSR so I could get used to it for HI3 but my brain worm protested so much. Especially since Eng sounds so much better for my brain. Especially Boothill in hsr. Eng dub anime are getting better these days tho. But Japanese is Goat!

English dub is good, that i cant play any games anymore that don't have ENG dub, ppl are still living in early 2000 when dub was bad in most of scenarios, but now its so dam good, only problem now is that strike, that happened in some games, i started gotcha with Honkai Impact 3rd and JP voices, but then came Genshin with English dub and that changed everying, as i sad, if there is no EN VA in game its not worth it

I usually play the game in Chinese with English subbed cos a certain deranged VA from another game that I started playing 1-2 years ago grates my ears so badly I had to switch. From that moment on, I've been playing in Chinese.

What made me switch back to English on WuWa was literally Zani's accent.

The FF7 Remake and WuWa are the ones that did and I have not looked back. 2.2 was a peak for all thr reasons and the VA's were a part of that.

That's the problem with JP VA. They all sound the same and in English you got WAY more variety than just the JP stereotypes that we hear all the time on repeat in all anime games.

The dub in 2.0 is good. But I still prefer jp since I recognize more voices there. Especially from anime category.
