A police officer was caught on camera being treated after possible exposure to fentanyl during a traffic stop. The Tavares Police Officer discovered drugs on a passenger, and the officer then had trouble breathing and collapsed. Fellow officers quickly administered Narcan, likely saving her life. Police say the officer was wearing gloves and practiced safe handling, but they think the wind blew it into her face and she may have inhaled it.

She didn’t OD. The media should start interviewing toxicologists rather than trusting whatever law enforcement feeds them.

Remember when like 11 people thought this was actually possible? Those were strange times

They asked for toxicology reports from her blood test and they refused. All of these are panic attacks because media has put such a huge fear in them about exposure. Yet these dealers are walking around with it and dealing it being in constant contact with it. What they need to stop doing is giving Narcan when there is no overdose going on.

This doesn't happen from exposure. She's probably having a panic attack lol

Doing drugs at work is not professional

Accidental It is a common misconception that fentanyl can be absorbed through the skin, but it is not true for casual exposure. You can't overdose on fentanyl by touching a doorknob or dollar bill. The one case in which fentanyl can be absorbed through the skin is with a special doctor-prescribed fentanyl skin patch, and even then, it takes hours of exposure.

The "news" caring about officers?! Now that is an amazing story on its own.

Her acting was hella cringe and horrible! You CANNOT overdose due to exposure.🤦🏻‍♀️
I’m an addict in recovery. I’ve overdosed several times and I’ve saved people that I had to narcan as well. This was not a Fentanyl overdose, this was her seeking attention and she also got paid time off for the week because of this incident. It’s funny it’s only these officers overdosing from “exposure”. LOL
It’s not even due to stress or a panic attack because these incidents only happen when they’ve found the substance so it gives them an excuse to act like they overdosed but us addicts in recovery know this is not possible to overdose this way.

"quickly administered Narcan, likely saving her life" oh god, they actually pumped her full of opioids because she had a minor fainting spell, she probably thought the withdrawal she experienced afterwards was a result of the "fentanyl exposure" lmao

We know who this officer can thank. Joe Biden and China for the Fentanyl.

Stay safe, no fear.

I'm not even a cop and I know that you don't pick up anything you see on the floor even if it's money. It's the world we live in these days.

Why does she have a pink badge? The male officers are standard silver. Hmmm
