Everybody warn me about battery life.... So i bought 6 of them.... And after that I realize i can take 800 shots with one battery.... It all depends how you set up your camera... So i sold 3 batteries

I started photography on an Iphone in 2018 I think. Got an a5100 with the kit lens. Then the a6400 with the 18-105 F4 and a few other cheap manual lenses and have been using that semi-professionally since 2019 and I still get very good results with it. Used it in weddings, events, motorsports, offroading, traveling, macro. Everything. And I could buy the same setup almost new for probably 60% of the price I paid in 2018. Autofocus is fast, you can do video and photo no problem.
I also had an A7 mark 1 with the 50 1.8 that got ran over in the backpack by an offroad car that went off track a lot but for the few photos I took with it I could see the cleanliness from the lower aperture and probably bigger sensor but to buy a Full frame kit wouldn't make sense financially unless I really went into events and weddings. And yes, the battery will drain quickly when shooting video and in the cold. Unless you're shooting a lot, you will get by with 2-3 batteries. When on a tripod, I use an external battery with the usbc to the camera and you can go for longer than the card can handle.

im a bit confused as to whether the camera actually has BSI, I have genuinely seen both answers in multiple places and the Sony store page doesn't mention it anywhere, it says it has Exmor sensor and doesn't specify Exmor R which is supposed to be the BSI version

A very interesting movie. I must admit that after 2 days of watching videos, I finally found out whether the a6400 has a full touch screen, people in many, many videos say "the a6400 has a touch display", and only you specified, or even showed, what it looks like, I'm great grateful. I was thinking very hard about buying the zv-e10 or a6400, but I won't lie, in Poland you have to pay almost $200 extra for the latter. However, I thought that since I don't plan to take photos in the rain, and apparently the ZV-E10 has a much more delicate body, I will buy it a SMALLRIG Cage with Handle and it will be somehow protected, the fact is that I take care of my equipment, but I always like to have some protection. Thank you for the video and best regards.

Just sold my G9 and m43 lenses to switch to Sony. I’ve shot Nikon (d3200, d3300, d3500, D7100, D7200, Z5), Canon (t3i, 70D), m43 (E-M1 ii, G9, G85), but never Sony. I got this camera with the student discount for $658. Even at the sale price of $750, I think this camera is a lot of camera for the money. I have a limited budget right now, so I just got the sigma 30mm 1.4 with the student discount for $289. I think for the price that combo is an incredible value.

Still have mine, but upgraded to a74 also, just wished i had bought full frame lenses from the start tho. Crop lenses are good and cheaper but if you end up going full frame only get limited use out of them.

Not to offend or anything but the video in the park could have been better if you mounted the camera on a tripod it would have helped a lot still very informative video keep it
