I’m sure he/she was demonstrating the settings he used. He showed us a tutorial in less than 30 seconds where most would show us the same tutorial that will take 30 minutes or more talking over it.

1/60, f3.2, iso 100. From there, adjust for exposure...using zebra mode will help. Would've been perfect for this type of shot. Keep working at it.

Its actually a good picture. But dont think f/1.8 was required. I try avoid going below 2.8 with this lens. Too much sharpness gets lost.

Why would you set shutter speed first? Set iso, then aperture then shutter to expose properly. In this shot you were at least +1 over exposed

50mm can go to 1/100shutter speed before starts blur so y not lower iso and increase shutter speed?
