Was not expecting to get called out for GAS haha! But the value of a pocketable camera can’t emphasized enough, especially in today’s age where companies sell us on higher megapixel counts, faster autofocus, improved image stabilization generally with the tradeoff being size. The release of new and improved camera tech doesn’t make older cameras worse. While phone cameras have definitely changed accessibility to quality photos, I also appreciate having a separate and dedicated camera that I can snap photos with and slip into the pocket without missing a beat or getting distracted by notifications and apps.

I got mine about a year ago for about $160 in my country currency. The body was pretty beat up with a lot of scratches, and the LCD had some vignetting. It was hard to get used to at first, but now it's become my go-to camera. I've taken about 40, 000 photos with it. Love it!

I've owned it for 10 years and it is such a great camera. The images that it delivers are just killer. Oddly enough I'm starting to see weird glitch lines in the LCD on occasion but it's still chugging along.

I have printed 13x19 on my old Canon Pro-10 and it looks amazing up close. I bought this new, and even at that price it was worth it. I literally captured priceless (to me) photos with the CoolPix A. I actually paid to have the sensor cleaned because this camera is so sentimental to me.

I had one for a while, it was super nice. Although for just a little bit bigger I got a m43 camera that can shoot 4K, has interchangeable lenses and IBIS so I ended up selling it. The build and lens are top notch though

I own a canon g12 and nikon p7000, I really love both of them coz they are just so small that can fixed into my bag. A camera can improve each person photography skills instead like photo that capture in any advanced phone that everything too perfect and fixed by AI instead your own skill.

Picked up one of these about 8 months ago on a whim. Saw it at a camera store used for $300 CAD. Not without its quirks but, love the build and image quality.

Mine also has dust on the sensor. Doesn’t really bother me.
