The XRT will be a sweet ride! Happy to see Hyundai retain as many physical buttons as possible.

Cars need to have spare tyre in Australia. We can’t rely on a car without spare tyre specially when we going for long distances driving. If sidewall of a tyre is damaged repair kit is useless and we stuck in middle of nowhere.

Hi Tom as always a great review, love to see Tucson Hybrid VS Brand New CRV Hybrid as these two are in our family choices, thank you!

Bit disappointed the diesel is gone, It was really nice to drive. Let’s hope that Kia keep it around for a bit longer

I’m jumping in line for that hybrid hopefully the XRT. Hope it doesn’t break the bank

The only major fail i see here is the piano trim on the door handles. WHY on earth would someone cover the most frequently touched part with this material?? Which genius thought this would be a smart idea? This will look absolutely hideous in no time. Shame on you hyundai, you can do better than that. I really really hope that this is optional and can be swapped with more resistance materials in the configurator

Not even a space saver. Big no for me.
RAV4 still the benchmark

Still waiting no spare. Is there a place for one and the tools, below the floor? If not No sale. I am looking to trade in my Santa Fe limited this fall. Can't Hyundai see what Toyota is doing?

I’d definitely want a spare wheel or space saver wheel

I'm sure it will have it's usual expressive, upscale black or grey interior choice, Whoop-E. How about adding an ivory, red or blue interior color scheme? So sick of the same old boring black and grey, which is not unique to just Hyundai. Toyota does it too on far too many of it's models. Love the exterior styling and the new dash redesign though.

Hello from Phoenix Arizona. The entire reason I have not purchased a new Hyundai Tucson is because it did not have knobs. I cannot stand that glossy black touchscreen. I’m all about tech and improvements but I’ve got to have some regular knobs. Currently I have a 2017 Hyundai Tucson Limited and I really like it except for one thing it’s got that CVC or CVT transmission and it drives me crazy it’s very jerky. I didn’t know anything about those types of transmissions before I purchased the car, I will never own one again I’m looking forward to getting a Hyundai Santa Fe hybrid most likely or I might go for a new hybrid Tucson once they’re out any other case I’m going to buy one that’s probably three years old to the massive depreciation of buying a new car. Thanks for the review.

I wouldn’t say the dash has gone BMW, more like KIA. You know it.
It will be interesting to see how the hybrid goes on both performance and economy. Personally I’m not a fan of the car, I think the RAV4 although not quite as nice inside is a better looking vehicle.

Great bit of kit….apart from the major design flaw that they’ve taken from the previous car, the indicators/turn signal lights are just too low to the point of being dangerous. Tailgating is a real issue in many countries and so with the lights being on the lower bumper your turn signal is not visible to the car behind you. Hyundai please change this like Kia has with the Sportage it’s a gamechanger!

I like every aspect of the facelift except for one thing that really annoys me. Why did they leave the indicators in the rear bumper. I’m sorry but that’s just horrible. I wish they had put them back in the original tail lights higher up. Otherwise they did a cracking job.
