Really depressing and heartbreaking seing palestine tertitories dying. I had a good friend. Palestinian. Remember then she talked about beautiful palestine then her grandfather lived there. The way she talked about it people islam. It made me feel sad love purety paradise. And that was deatroyed. No wonder current palestian generation full of hatred. Also said we accepted jews since they didnt have where to go. And thats how they repaid us with our kindness. Heartbreaking and so sad. I'm so sorry. I hope her people find peace and love again ❤😢

Some peeps in the comments failed to read the title of this video. This is a map of the "Israel Palestine conflict" not a map of the history of Israel and Palestine. This land is Canaan land. The Canaanites were the ancestors of Hebrews. Eventually the land was brought under the rule of Egypt as a Territory, then it became Israel and the Philistines, then Israel and Judah, then the Assyrians took over, then the Babylonians, then the Persians, then the Greeks, then the Egyptians again, then the Greeks again, then Romans, then it became Herod's kingdom and Judea, then Eastern Roman/Greek (Byzantine), then the rise of Islam and the Caliphates, then the Sultanates, then the Mongols, then the Ottomans, and FINALLY it was named British Mandate Palestine. The Idea of a Palestinian people is strange to me. It's just the name of the area. The Bedouin people who have resided in that land for hundreds of years need to stop associating themselves with the name of a country. In all truths, the Hebrews have true ANCIENT claim on the land whilst the Bedouin people only have modern claims. It is a lose lose situation. The land should be called Canaan.

Just to clarify PALESTINAN DOES NOT mean Arab. Actually PALESTINA = ISRAEL. Arabs are NOT native from PALESTINA, Jews are native from PALESTINA.

The 1967 map is wrong, because Jordan occupied the west bank and Egypt occupied the Gaza strip. So it should be 0% Historic Palestine.

The question is when does your history begins. Does it begin in the Old Testament or the Quran. The land was not 100% Philistine even in historic times. Let alone pre-historic

This map is so wrong from start to finish. “Before Israel” wasn’t 100% Muslim. It was mostly Jewish from 1200 BCE to 600 CE, and mostly Muslim from 600-1917, at that point 10% Jews lived in Palestine, and more and more yearly. The 1947 map never looked like that in the real world, it was just a petition plan put forward by UN that never actually made it through. Instead it lead to the 1967 map, but that happened already in 1948, not 1967. In 1948, Egypt took control of Gaza, Jordan took control over West-Bank, and their areas were drastically reduced based on the UN 1947 plan. What happened in 1967 is that Israel attacked its neighbouring countries, took control over Gaza, West-Bank, the Sinai Peninsula and Golan Heights. In 1978, Israel signed a deal with Egypt and gave back Sinai, but they still occupy Golan Heights in Syria to this day. This map fails to show both Israel’s occupation of Sinai and Golan Heights. In the 90s, the Oslo Accords were signed, it was first at that time Palestinians got territory, which is the 2022 map, never before that did Palestine own territory, this map makes it seem like Palestine got smaller and smaller, but in reality those areas were always occupied by other countries, and it was not until the 90s they got their own territories.
