I accually love this movie. My biggest issue with it tho is that the service people have a more human reaction when the truth comes out than the parents. Love chessy and martin for that.

Every time I see this movie, I am reminded of how a talented young girl can be drawn into the Hollywood culture and be completely effed up by it. It took 20+ years….but I am glad that Lindsay is working on getting her life back on track.

I can only imagine the dad going, "What in the living daylight is wrong with Chessy? Acting like she hasn't..." And then he should have put two and two together. Like if all the signs weren't enough, the dog no longer coming around or her language change, Chessy's breaking down should have been a California-sized give away that it was Annie.

Great scene, but I wish they'd held the moment when Annie tells Chessy who she really is a little longer, before Nick came walking in. The emotional arc of that incredible revelation was cut short, like a spell was broken.

This is one of the best movies of my childhood. It’s so sweet and it’s really head and shoulders above the original. Even as a kid, this scene got my teary-eyed.
