Dr. James White: Witnessing to Mormons

This is a very exciting and informative talk between Jeff Durbin and Dr. James White outside of the Mormon Temple in Mesa, Arizona. Dr. White, who has done moderated debates with mormons, talks about his own personal history in witnessing to Mormons and Jeff asks him about how we can be effective and loving ministers to Mormons. There is a lot of helpful dialogue about Mormon history and theology.

The fundamental theological differences between Christianity and Mormonism is a huge gap. The fact that there are people outside of the Mormon Temple willing to talk about the true Christ and the true God the God of Abraham the God Isaac and the God of David is such a true gift!

Having awoken to the God of the Bible and been out of Mormonism for over a year I agree that the God of mormonism and the Jesus they proclaim are replicas of the real ones.
Having 6 of my 9 other sibs who are believers of the LDS church, I do put in my respectful filter when with them as of course because I love them. I will always be respectful to the young missionary Elders and Sisters as they do not know any different.
I believe showing the love of Christ and respect to them is the only way to getting through with truth, though it would be hard for them to accept.

I respect Dr. White so much. I've learned a lot from him (probably more than other teacher).. I wish he allowed comments on his channel. I don't know his reasons for this, but I suspect it's due to all the haters. (?)

Fallen man is not simply an imperfect creature who needs improvement as the Mormons believe...we are rebels who must lay down our arms and surrender, to start from the ground up... we need to unlearn all of the self conceit and self will, that that we have been training ourselves for thousands of years!!...it really means killing part of yourself and undergoing a kind of death to become reborn into a new man in Christ...

Love Dr. White's comment about the God who does not change. Mormonism is just glorified atheism - an infinite stack of gods. There is no peace and no comfort in a God Who is not eternal, One you cannot trust to truly be sovereign, to truly be perfect and loving and holy.
