3:55 doing a safe emergency landing on a perfect runway seems difficult and stressful. This man safely landed on a highway with cars and not to mention landing in a turn. That's pretty damn impressive.

My younger brother had to do an emergency landing a few months ago giving a guy a check ride in a Cherokee 140 (oil cooler hose wasn't completely secured after a recent annual and it popped off in flight). He picked a close highway and "dove" towards the road to pick enough speed so he could fly low and pass all the traffic so everyone would see what he was up to and stop rather than do a "standard" approach and land on top of unsuspecting commuters. Pretty quick thinking.

As a student pilot that uses a Cessna 152 for training... the Israeli video hits close to home. I know all the speeds and procedures. This instructor nailed it 100% even with the RPM gauge having a spaz. If I was that student, I'd ask to go back up again same day to get that out of my system. I know it wouldn't stop me from flying, but the sooner you get back into it, the easier.

Any landing you can walk away from is a good one. Any landing where you can reuse the aircraft is an exceptional one

I was leaving Fargo ND one afternoon heading to Madison WI and I got about 20 miles out when I hear a MAYDAY MAYDAY MAYDAY, let me tell you that gets your attention! It was an instructor in a PA28151 Cherokee with two students and he was losing power in the engine and had to put the plane down West of Hawley MN. The instructor did a very good job of describing his position and upon landing the plane did flip over but the pilot got everybody out and radioed Fargo approach that he could hear sirens coming, everything by the book and besides the plane no souls injured and all lived to fly again!

"Don't tailgate planes??" It's ATC's responsibility in controlled airspace to maintain separation for landing aircraft.

Lol you can’t blame the truck driver for colliding with the plane. It’s not like you would be looking for something like a plane to be crash landing while driving through a vineyard

When the pilots are managing to land the plane without casualties, everything's alright. If the plane gets damaged, it's fixable/replacable but people aren't replacable.

12:37 if you listen, you can hear the stall horn, that's why they landed so hard, they stalled a bit off the ground and just fell into it
