Removing Sod from Practice Field - Ventrac Sod Cutter

Traditionally, sod removal is done by walk-behind machines, which makes removing this amount of sod very difficult. With the Ventrac sod cutter, Xtreme Machine Solutions was able to cut 24" wide strips of sod at a rapid pace, all from the seat of the tractor. The speed of the Ventrac kept a crew of workers with two large skid steers busy trying to keep up.

With a cutting depth of 0 to 2-1/2 inches, the Sod Cutter can be used to slice under thick lush grass or shave off dirt for work site preparation or irrigation trenching jobs.
