How interchangeable are these? If I would buy brand a cable and a brand b cable, can I swap?

Here is a question.
Im currently using a less known USB c phone, which charges with 9V 2A, does the WSKEN USB c cable ( I assume the Micro USB and USB C are the same and only differ in the magnetic charging end) handle 18W, because standard seems to be 5.2V 2.4A, which is around 12W I assume?

Would be thankful for a reply.

Here’s a question before I purchase. 1, do these do data transfer? 2, would I be able to use this on a laptop in order to quick connect to a usb type c dock that has Ethernet, hdmi, usb 3.0, and power delivery (60 watts at least as that is what my laptop would require)?

Here's a question. I have a usb c android phone (galaxy s8+) and my wife has a galaxy s7 which uses micro USB. We also have a bunch of devices like bluetooth speakers and paypal card readers that use micro USB charging. What I would like is to buy a few magnetic usb charge cables and the magnetic plugs for each device and then be able to use the same cable regardless of what device (be it usb c or micro USB) can this be done?

the 2 flat/wide/low performing plugs are actually wsken gen 1 cords. the other wskn that he shows is from their gen 2 line up of products. it should also be noted that both generations have a lot of cheap knock offs so those may not even be wsken, so that may explain the poor voltage. or maybe wsken just made a sub par product in gen 1. idk.

How much of a difference is 4.5 to 5.2v going to make? Would you recommend getting magnetic or is the power loss not worth it? Do you use any of these anymore?

That voltage drop... WHY is that? A cable cannot be that low quality to drop voltage like that... if you took two wires and improvised a connection, it would perform better than those! is it because of the cable's LED maybe? I think that if the cheapest and worst cable you have in this review did NOT have any LED, there wouldn't be any voltage drop. You see... even the Wsken cable has a little drop... and it has an LED on it (the most dimmed one).


I think it would score the same voltage as the ordinary USB cable (since it doesn't have an LED). It seems pretty high quality and it's worth giving a try. It's probably the best "budget" one. It should be no difference from the ordinary cable whatsoever, apart from the attaching method.

wsken only seem to sell 1 meter. why you would buy a 1m cable is beyond me

HKW is another bad one, , what good is a magnetic cable if still has pins which are needed to make the connection, the surface should be flat or close to it as in macbook, thing I don't like about wsken, is cable too short, and also not reversible

Bought a Wsken for iOS a while ago. It was marked as Mfi. Nope. Trickle charged. Completely useless.

The adapter is so much chaper compared to Wsken... I can get 10 for all my cables for 40... 10 wsken is over 100 dollars :(
