I tried it and it did not work. Oh well, it was worth a try. So the next day I was going to snake it. I ran the water and it started to back up again and then all of the sudden the water just started draining just like when it was new. It worked!!! I don't know why it was such a delayed reaction but IT WORKED!!!! Thank you so much! Been draining great ever since!

A word of caution. If you have pvc or abs drain pipes, pouring scalding, boiling water down the drain will melt the cement or glue along the joints and cause a bigger issue.

Supposedly what this does is it causes the pressure to push whatever is in there out. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. You have to close off the other end. If you have a safety drain on a tub good luck thanks for watching.

Had standing water in my tub so I had to do this process twice then use a plunger, but it worked thankfully

Thanks for the helpful tip. However, your drain wasn't clogged when you initially poured in the boiling water😂. Boiling water may be too hot for plastic plumbing. Particularly, if the drain doesn't drain well like yours did in the video.

Great video. Hard to know how effective it was in your case, as when you poured the water in initially, it drained straight away, with no delay or water sitting. But appreciate the detailed process none the less

Sometimes you have to do this 2 or 3 x! Also....mix the baking soda with a little of the hot water to help get it down in the drain before you add the vinegar. If you dont have any standing water that is..

Funny we look at how well the job is done, there wasn't an indication the drain was plugged or slow draining before the treatment!
