Realistically I think the headline rate was to encourage people to move money to T212 that they would then invest on the platform (where T212 would then make a profit).
But once it became more mainstream people have actually started to use if for actual savings and not as a pre space before investing it.

Isnt the % calculated on the yearly compounded interest. The actual interest on the original deposit is calculated to be less than BOE so that must be their slim margins. Around 0.18%?

I use both T212, Lightyear, ii and Vanguard for my investments. A small correction I want to add, is that Lightyear actually gives 5.15% AER if you use the vault option. This could be a nice video in the near future.

Still do not understand how you have £41k in an isa etf and be in minus as takes minimum 3 yr to load that cash in there and S&P grown least 40% last 2 yr what going on with your investments
